L Peruvian Bay Laurel

News Flash! Bay Lauel just delivered a beautiful Dark Silver Grey Female Cria! When bred to Grey she nearly always gives Grey. Bay Laurel is now available without her cria, and has been rebred to Silver Elation and due 6/5/11.

Bay Laurel is one of our outstanding Full Peruvian foundation females that when bred to grey, almost always produces grey. She has a dense, rich, dark brown/mahogany fleece that still has a nice handle and good staple length for her age. Her cria have done well in the show ring, and are strong boned and healthy. Bay Laurel is an easy birther, and has excellent mothering skills and plentiful milk.

This past season we bred Bay Laurel to our full Peruvian herdsire, Accoyo America Phoenix. From this breeding, Bay Laurel effortlessly delivered a stunning Med. Fawn girl that is extremely bright, dense, with curls everywhere! She is just outstanding. For her 2010 cria we decided to take her back to grey. She is bred to our newest herdsire ATV Silver Elation, whom we co-own with ALPACAS of Tualatin Valley. This combination gives you Silver Cesario, Silver Magnum, Mr. Roosevelt, Shaquille, Quicksilver, Silvio, and Leon genetics, and that is just the Males!

So why are we placing Bay Laurel on our sales list? Again, we need to cut back on the number of females we own, especially since we had 17 female cria last season!
